The Bluetooth section on Device Manager was hidden, and when I opened it, all of the Bluetooth devices were greyed out. I checked on Device Manager to see if something was wrong with the actual Bluetooth devices. Nothing changed when I went into the new restore point.Ģ. I used System Restore to bring my Windows 10 system back to a time when the Bluetooth was working.

I tried a few different potential solutions to fix it, none of which have worked:ġ. Then, suddenly, today when I went on Settings to check my Bluetooth, it says Bluetooth is turned off - there is no option to turn Bluetooth off and on, and it has disappeared from Action Center. (Because uninstalling would not help at all, as it was installed back at reboot.) And then, immediately, installing new Bluetooth USB dongles started working for me.So my Bluetooth was working fine on my Windows 10 PC (Lenovo T430) for the past few months. Once you disconnect the mouse and/or disable Bluetooth in Action Center (the Bluetooth box) or Bluetooth & other devices / Bluetooth OFF, that's how I was suddenly able to Disable the Bluetooth Radio driver. Let alone it doesn't make any sense "Disable" is not available if mouse is connected. So I didn't realize my mouse was connected to the onboard Bluetooth instead of the Unifying dongle. It was insanely confusing as I also have Logitech Unifying USB dongle for other devices. Now if you don't have Disable as a choice in the menu, this happened to me when I had a Logitech mouse connected to that Bluetooth. When this is enabled, Bluetooth is enabled for Windows, this disabled, onboard Bluetooth is disabled. Windows 10 Device Manager / Bluetooth / Bluetooth Radio = onboard Bluetooth chip driver. So here's the solution for anyone with the same problem. Under macOS it works without problems, but the drivers are completely different there.) How do I uninstall the integrated Bluetooth driver completely?Īlso, does anyone know a Bluetooth adapter that is confirmed working on MacBook Pro 16" 2019 / Windows 10? (The reason I need the adapter in the first place is that the integrated Bluetooth is not compatible with my Sony WH-1000XM3/XM4 headphones under Windows 10, there's a horrible sound cutting problem.

I still cannot install the Realtek Bluetooth Adapter or the other adapters. There's also "Bluetooth Device (RFCOMM Protocol TDI)" (in Device Manager / Bluetooth as well), and that can be disabled, but it doesn't help. If I uninstall "Bluetooth Radio", it asks for a restart and after restart, the Bluetooth Radio is back! And "Disable" is not available! The adapter manufacturers say I have to uninstall MacBook's own Bluetooth, otherwise I can't install the new driver. The adapters do not work, there is always the yellow triangle on Device Manager's Bluetooth /. I try to get them working on MacBook Pro 16" (2019).
